Quick-Step Flooring has recently released a vinyl loose-lay range featuring Australian species from their Livyn Essential collection. Loose lay, as the name suggests, makes installation a breeze. You simply place the planks on the floor; cut the end of the row with a utility knife; start the next row; and then bring them together tightly into a straight line. Thanks to the Anti-Slip True Grip technology on the bottom, the plank won’t budge. With these 1500mm planks, loose lay is ideal for the DIY-renovator. It comes with a 25-year warranty.
Aussie species matt-brushed Blackbutt and Spotted Gum have been added to the Livyn Essential range as well as Patina Oak Light Grey and Classic Oak Natural. All four new hues are available in the loose-lay and the alternative glue-down ranges. This vinyl flooring collection feels warm and homely; is comfortable underfoot; and is a good thermal conductor making it suitable for under-floor heating. In addition, as it is thin and flexible, it can be laid on top of many existing floors as long as they are level. An added bonus with this vinyl flooring range is that it combines the look of real timber and being 100% waterproof. The collection now offers 19 different hues to suit many tastes and décors.
