Brooklyn, NY based artist and rug designer Amy Helfand recently launched her latest collection; the first since her last release around three years. Be Good Do Good is a collection of handwoven rugs made in Nepal, which touches on inspiration from traditional Persian and Chinese rug designs while remaining contemporary with Amy’s signature free-flowing lines and eye-catching pops of colour. Designed by Amy and handmade by Nepalese artisans, the rugs are made from Chinese silk and wool that are hand dyed in small batches before they are woven, using the traditional Tibetan cross-weaving technique.
