Since the year 2000, Pantone’s Colour of the Year announcement has been a symbolic day set in the design calendar. The Pantone Colour Institute named Living Coral as the 2019-colour. Bold colour has been integrated heavily into Australian design throughout 2018. Pantone’s 2018 colour forecast was spot on. Ultra Violet quickly made its way onto fashion catwalks, into hospitality venues, home renovation and décor; and even film. Deep shades of purple and blue rapidly found their place through home renovations. From large statement pieces like tiles, wall art and sofas, to small colour nods in cushions, towels and curtains, Pantone’s colour forecast for 2018 was fully embraced.

With Living Coral on the horizon for 2019, ILVE’s freestanding oven range has welcomed this avant-garde colour into their customisable oven collection. The Living Coral colour focuses on buoyancy and warmth while reflecting on the elusive ecosystem beneath the sea. ILVE’s Living Coral Freestanding Oven embraces the core of this colour trend. Living Coral’s bright tone seems unconventional and possibly riské as a statement piece; however the colour works seamlessly with golden undertones, turquoises, whites and other shades of orange. A Living Coral ILVE Freestanding Oven can provide a kitchen renovation a serene feel, one that acts as the hub of the home.

Custom built in colour and function, ILVE‘s freestanding oven range includes the Quadra, Majestic and Nostaglie series: the Quadra has a selection of five cooking surface combinations and seven sizes; the Majestic series features the same cooktop offered in the Quadra range, with added features including a storage drawer for kitchen essentials and a dual control WOK burner; while the classic looking Nostaglie series channels a rustic country style.  ILVE Customisable Ovens are priced from $5,299 [60cm] through to $37,999 [150cm].
