Fine artist and colour expert Annie Sloan recently celebrated collaboration with Charleston Farmhouse, the country home and meeting place of the renowned Bloomsbury Set. The Bloomsbury Set was a group of English writers, intellectuals, philosophers and artists in the first half of the 20th century, including Virginia Woolf, John Maynard Keynes, E. M. Forster and Lytton Strachey. Today, The Charleston Trust promotes the legacy of this group, which took art beyond the canvas to immerse themselves in a world where design and radical thinking took centre stage. Replete with uninhabited colour and pattern on walls and surfaces, it is a hymn to the possibilities of paint.
At the heart of this new collection are three limited edition colours:
- RODMEL is a rich damson plum tone.
- TILTON is a warm mustard.
- FIRLE is a vibrant green.
To celebrate this launch and inspire creativity, the new Charleston Collection comes in a special decorative set that comprises one of the new paint colours [120ml]; two complementary and mixable Chalk Paint® colours [120ml]; Chalk Paint® Wax; and an Inspiration Guide; priced at $75.65.
